omg I wanna be Paris Hilton's New BFF!
Have you guys heard of this show? Have you seen the commercials on MTV? Probably not. Im sure I'm the last person on earth who still watches that network.
So not only does MTV have a show about a band, a couple shows about 7 strangers living together or a show about rich girls getting these fabulous lives on TV but they have one about the last person in the world most people could care less about. PARIS HILTON!
Now this show is different than the dating ones you see on other networks. Its about becoming Paris Hilton's new friend.
Seeing most of these girls compete for Paris's "heart" week after week kind of confuses me!
One: I didn't think she was all that cool after her stint in jail and her constant fights with other celebrities.
Two: They network makes it like a dating show almost. (because they get eliminated every week)
Three: All the girls look majorly desperate for attention!
There is this one person on there that totally gets on my nerves. Her/his name is Onch. I say He/her because it is a man but on the outside its a total she. She wears makeup ( i say this because she never puts the makeup brush down) and whines like a high schooler. Definatly someone I wouldn't want to be my friend. She is constantly looking for the attention of Paris and would do just about anything to be on the camera. FAKE!
There is definatly an entertainment value here. Paris Hilton is known for starting drama. And now that she can control it she is putting other people in it. For instance, on the last show Perez Hilton was on and he interviewed all of the girls to see how much they would "kiss & tell". He found out a lot of juice. Like the rating system he did about who was the most real/fake in the house. That caused drama within itself!
Paris Hilton's show is one of those shows that will keep you watching just to see what drama unfolds and what (un)-lucky person becomes her new bff.
Good Luck to her!

Dating Show After Dating Show!
Lets be real here. I love watching reality tv. We all know this. But can you give someone else a chance at becoming a star than the cast members of Flava Flav, I Love New York and I Love Money!?!
There is a new show out called "A Real Chance of Love" starring the two brothers of I Love New York and the last VH1 show I Love Money.
These shows are much like the reality tv that is shown on MTV and quite frankly I feel that the network is working with MTV. But that might just be me! Anyways, about this new show. So it is similar to the dating show that the brothers were on though this time the dumped Stallionaires get to find their own love. Now, with every reality television show there are the sluts and the whores who just want to be on tv to get attention. Within this show there is so many you cant count on which one will be there next week! On the very first night when first impressions are supposed to count and normal women would be (hopefully) on their best behavior these girls are giving lap dances, shakin their booty's for everyone one to see everything they have to offer, taking smack to each other and all this other crazy stuff. You would think in the mind of a man that this would be a red flag to send these girls a packin' but Chance and Real love it. At the end of the night they send the quiet girl home because she didnt put enough out there. But we all know that this is for ratings so in order to get the ratings it has to be interesting. Even back when Marilyn Monroe was alive she even said it correctly. "Well behaved women rarely make history." so with that said. All those video hoes and silly girls who like to spend their time shakin their butts on MTV and VH1 are the ones that are going to make people stop and remember them not the ones who are sweet and innocent. Maybe its time to change the tone and set the bar for the sweet and innocent girls.

LC is leaving the hills!
Its another fun filled week of reality tv!
I was reading Perez Hilton (we all know i love reading that juicy gossip!) and came upon this blog LC "threatens" to leave The Hills!
Perez states that because Lauren has been on the hills now for almost 5 years she is claiming she is going to leave all because Whitney got her own show. Now its not like i don't like The Hills but maybe it is her time. She got super rich from doing Laguna Beach seasons as well as the hills! Not to mention the fact that her parents are loaded! Perez is always dissing on the fact that she probably has a fake job as well as a fake college degree from the fashion institute in LA. Who knows? Doesn't she have her own clothing line? Doesn't it cost like $45 dollars for leggings? She should be able to afford things for a while without the show. Within the blog, Perez quotes Lauren as saying,"It's more difficult when not only everyone knows about your problems, but they make them worse because things escalate and things get twisted. It's hard to have an actual friendship be torn apart in the media." Didn't she know what she was getting into when she started the show, 5 years ago? And a lot of the reason her and Heidi arent friends anymore is because of that a hole Spenser. She was so much better with whats his name from the first season of The Hills. At least she still had friends and a family she constantly kept in contact with!

How Far Would You Go For MTV?
">
So I'm back again to share my ever loving thoughts about reality tv.
Im basically going to do a contrast of Making the Band finale and the Real World/Road Rules challenge: the Island.
So watching the Making the Band Finale the other night it struck me. why do people care so much about how a band, that was made by Diddy himself from complete total strangers, get on with their music careers? Now I am a little bias because I love Aubrey and she happens to be one of my friends really good friends. (Sorry I have yet to meet her.) But come on? i love Danity Kane they are a great singing group but Diddy did you really have to fire 2 of the best band mates on national television all because of one comment Aubrey made? She did speak her mind, i understand that. She might of deserved to be repremanded. She is one of the top promoters fo your group. She is wanted on every magazine cover. I get it that you know D Woods and Aubrey are great friends. Their girls! There is always going to be cliques no matter what! Geez. MTV just likes the drama! I was reading on Perez Hilton that he thinks there is gonna be a season 5 as well as the band getting back together. I on the other hand wouldnt be surprised because that is just the way diddy is. Leave it to Mr Money Bags.
Now on the other hand we have Real World/ Road Rules Challenge: the Island. What the heck kind of show is this? I love watching the Real World when its on its normal season. Seven strangers living together in one house. Pretty entertaining. But when it comes to the challenges and all the pervious cast mates are on to battle it out it gets kinda old. Especially with the really old cast mates like Johnny and Robin. How many challenges have you been on? and you still havent won the x amount of money? Don't you think you've had enough? Your getting old buddies its time to move on! Dont get me wrong i love the show. Who doesnt love drama? Especially when its not happening to you!
This is what MTV has come to! Drama. No more MTV, (yeah people at one time it was called Music Television!) Its just a bunch of random people brought to stardom. GEEZ.

The Hills- The Aftershow
So I just finished watching the recent episode of "The Hills". Now if you havent seen The Hills there is a lot you need to catch up on.
This show is about teens/grown women (age 22) living in LA. It is supposed to be based around the main character Lauren (or LC) but for the most part it talks about Spencer and Heidi. They are the drama filled couple who cant get enough of the paparazzi. It is always soo much drama when Spencer is around. Anyways getting back to my story, so in this episode focused on Audrina and her little man drama. Justin Bobby is the most disgusting men I have ever seen but for some reason Audrina fell for him and cant keep going back to him even when shes met a really hot and super nice guy. Corey is the new guy in Audrina's life but in the half hour episode I watched tonight it made me fee like there is more to that little relationship with Corey than Audrina is saying. She looked super happy and excited unlike past experiences that were shown on The Hills. (PS. Is it just me or from last week to this week did Audrina get a boob job? Her boobs looked huge!)

So why "reality tv junkster"?
i love reality tv. I dont know if you can tell based on the idea that i thought having a blog would make sense. The world must want to know my take on whats happening on "The Hills" or the "Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island" I keep up with all of the reality tv shows especially on MTV or VH1. It has gotten so bad that i set reminders in my sidekick to tell me what show is on when. So i dont mess up and i know whats happening, cause apparently commercials arent enough right?
So by writing this blog I hope to get out my feelings on certain shows as well as to really think about what reality tv is doing to me. (i tend to make my work/ school schedule around these things) pathetic i know.
I will mainly focus on shows that are on MTV or VH1 because i feel that these two channels have taken reality tv to another level. They have put the most random people in the spotlight, take the hills stars for instance. Random girls brought to stardom. Who says this is real? you will just have to stay tuned and find out.
